Created by a Business Lawyer Who Knows What Entrepreneurs Need
👋 Hi, I’m Chris, a business attorney and entrepreneur. For years, I’ve helped business owners protect themselves with strong, clear contracts. This template isn’t just a generic form, it’s built using the same contract structure and language I use with my law firm clients.
Buying this template does not make me your lawyer. But you’re getting a professionally designed, lawyer-drafted agreement that’s built to work in real-world business situations.
Why This Contract Works:
1. Battle-Tested
This contract mirrors what I draft for my law firm clients, real entrepreneurs dealing with real contract issues. Whatever contract concerns you have, I’ve likely seen (and solved) them before.
2. No Fluff or Legalese
Finally, you’ll actually understand what it says and how to use it. I’ve scrapped all the unnecessary legalese.
3. Step-by-Step Instructions
Video walkthroughs and guides ensure you’ll know exactly how to use your new contractor agreement to protect your business.

Questions?
Find answers in the FAQ.
You shouldn’t have to second-guess your contractor agreement.
Every entrepreneur deserves a contractor agreement that just works, but too often, people end up with:
- Confusing templates that make no sense and don’t explain what anything means.
- Agreements that don’t address copyright, leaving you without the rights you need.
- Contracts that skip the important details, leading to incomplete work, missed deadlines, and more.
You shouldn’t have to compromise.
That’s why I created this contractor agreement–so you don’t have to settle.

     Don’t Settle
Most Contracts Fall Short.
This One Just Works.
Clarity & Ease of Use
Other contracts are confusing and full of legalese. They’re either too vague to be useful or so complicated they feel like they were written in 1825, not 2025.
This Contractor Agreement is clear, modern, and built for real entrepreneurs. No unnecessary legal jargon. Just a clean, well-structured agreement that makes sense.
Customization & Flexibility
Most contracts force you into a one-size-fits-all approach. They often don’t match how modern businesses actually work, requiring endless edits just to fit your needs.
This Contractor Agreement is designed for flexibility. It includes alternate provisions so you can adjust key terms based on each contractor relationship.
Legal Strength & Protection
Some contracts leave out critical protections. They might be missing key legal terms, exposing you to disputes, unfinished work, or liability risks.
This contract is built by a business attorney for real-world use. It contains all the essential legal protections you need, without unnecessary complexity.
Professionalism & Perception
Other contracts can make you look unprofessional. Whether it’s a badly formatted template or an overly complex document that slows down negotiations, the wrong contract sends the wrong message.
This Contractor Agreement makes you look polished and prepared. It’s structured, modern, and confidence-inspiring, helping you secure contractors faster.
Price & Value
Free contracts seem like a good deal, until they cost you. The risk of disputes, unfinished work, or legal confusion is far more expensive than investing in a proper contract.
This template gives you the best of both worlds. A lawyer-crafted agreement at an affordable, one-time price.

The “Legal Stuff”
Who is this course and template designed for?
This Contractor Agreement Toolkit was designed specifically for freelancers, entrepreneurs, agencies, and small businesses who hire contractors. Regardless if you are hiring contractors to work for your business, or to help with your clients, this toolkit can help.
Here’s a few examples: Freelancers, Consultants, Entrepreneurs, Startups, Agencies, Small Businesses, Designers, Developers, Marketers, Creative Directors, Consultants, Advisors, Social Media Managers, Photographers, Videographers, Virtual Assistants, and more.
Will this contract actually protect me?
With 15 years of experience working on modern contractor contracts, I can confidently say that this template covers the most common scenarios and provisions. My goal was to cover as many situations as possible that a real-world small business is likely to face in a contractor agreement. However, if you have unique legal needs you may want to ask an attorney to review the template for your specific situation.
Will this template work in my state?
It’s impossible to guarantee that a contract will work in every individual state because each state has different laws, regulations, court precedent, etc.
With that said, this template focuses on legal topics that tend to be the same or similar across state lines. Moreover, this template was created to be as enforceable as possible in as many states as possible. I attempt to highlight provisions that are commonly known to vary by state. For example, some states place more limitations on non-compete provisions. But to be clear, I am not promising that I will call out all such instances.
I don’t know much about contracts. Will I be able to use this?
Absolutely! This template is written in plain English and comes with easy-to-follow instructions. You don’t need to be a lawyer to customize and use it with confidence. Plus, this template includes step-by-step guides and videos to walk you through each section.

Can I use the contractor agreement template with multiple contractors?

I’ve used contract templates before. What makes this different?
Oh boy, here we go… I’ve reviewed and negotiated other templates and let me say…. they’re not good. They are full of legalese, lack comprehensive coverage, and are just not useful in practice. This template uses the same structure and language I rely on with my one-on-one law firm clients. To be clear, you are buying a DIY template, not one-on-one legal advice, but this template is among the best in the industry in my opinion. It’s clear, easy to use, comprehensive, and avoids unnecessary legalese. Moreover, I’ve included substantially more instructions and more comprehensive guides to support this template than other contract templates, which means you’ll finally understand your client agreement. It’s not just fill-in-the blanks. It’s learning why the client agreements says what it says and how to use it in the real world.
The Contract Shop
Should I buy this template or hire an attorney?
This is a complex question. The short answer is that you should consider hiring an attorney if you need dedicated, one-on-one advice for a complex transaction. If all you need is general guidance with your business or contracts, then a course or template may be all you need. I cannot provide a definitive answer without knowing your unique situation.
I like to think about this in terms of risk. The more risk you have with a specific matter, the more likely you may need an attorney. The less risk, the more likely you can “do it yourself” with the right resources.Â
In the end, it’s up to you.
Is this a one-time purchase?
Yes! You pay once and get lifetime access to the templates, guides, and videos within this digital product. Learn more about what you can and cannot do in the Product License.
Is there a refund policy if I’m not satisfied?
Due to the nature of the products, all purchases in this shop are non-refundable. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please email me (hello@pixellaw.com) and I will try to resolve your concerns. Please read the Product License before making a purchase.
Can I hire Pixel Law / Chris Brown?
Maybe. Pixel Law (and me, Chris) allows certain individuals and businesses to engage the firm for one-on-one legal advice and representation. However, I am not licensed in every state across the country, and I may or may not be able to help you. Feel free to email me (hello@pixellaw.com) if you’d like to explore engaging my firm.
How do I contact you?
You can email me at hello@pixellaw.com. I can answer your questions about the shop, but I cannot answer your legal questions unless you engage my law firm (which you may or may not be able to do based on your specific situation).
